Ancient civilizations understood the seasons and how to live their lives by it. Harvest feasts, rain dances and nomadic lifestyles are examples of this. They understood themselves as equal and part of the wind, trees, animals and the stars. We are nature. This is a legacy that we can honour and integrate into our lives. Instead we focus on accumulating wealth, fighting the onset of age, as well as consuming and wasting more than we are growing and building. What legacy are we leaving to future generations?
