Materials & tools used: perspex container (found in a charity shop years ago), balsa wood base, twigs and dry leaves, Dremel tool for engraving, white paint marker, coffee and varnish.

Created for the Nature Art Cube exhibition that forms part of the 2018 Geumgang Nature Art Biennale in South Korea.

This cube can be seen as a failed attempt at containing something too big to fully understand – nature is so much more complex than we can every express), but at the same time we can find simplicity by putting some limitations on how we look at the world. This cube limits and expresses in just such a way.
